Our Bride Mari

Meet our Bride Mari.

Mari came to us when she was looking for a gown that we didn't carry

"I originally was looking to find the Watters gowns that I had previously fallen in love with while living in Kentucky. After moving to Salt Lake City, I was on a mission to find my dress."

After we regrettably informed her that we didn't have the gown she was looking for, we invited her to look around and see if there was something else she would like to try.

"I looked to my left and there it was. I knew the minute I saw it on the hanger that THIS was the gown that was supposed to be MY DRESS. I looked back at Rebecca, forgot about the Watters dress I was on the hunt for and said that I needed to try on this dress.  MY dress."

"I made one small change by removing the original embellishment and replaced it with a family heirloom that my mother wore at her wedding."

What a great idea!

We love when our Brides bring some sentiment to their gowns.  

"From that point on I never looked back and what a wonderful decision that was for me. Brandon, my groom, and I had the most wonderful day and we will never forget the road we traveled to make that day a reality. "

This is our Bride Tanya and her husband Kyle.

When Tanya was planning her wedding, she decided on a Vintage theme.

To go with that theme, she purchased one of our very own gowns that we designed.

Now, vintage themes can be pretty hard to pull off, but as you can see

They nailed it!

She wore our dress beautifully.

We love our Brides here at The Perfect Dress.

They are so stylish, confident and such trend setters.

They make us look good.

A Nice Day For A White Wedding

Well, at least that's what it's we have been told.

Today is 11/12/13, called "The Most Romantic Day of the Year."

Today, there are more than 3,500 weddings going on around you, so keep a look out for them.

We have many Brides that are getting married today and we just wanted to say

December 13th, 2014

And a little word of advice.  

If you are planning on getting married that day, start planning NOW if you haven't already.

Everything books up quick.

After next year, the big sequential date in a year will be in 2103.

Yeah.

You might want to start planning for that one too.

Our Bride Brittany

We love Brittany.

She came to us when she had purchased a gown online and it came in nothing like the photo.

We were more than excited to help her find a gown that matched her happy glow.

She ended up choosing a raw silk trumpet gown and had our seamstresses design a bolero to compliment the gown.

We loved this gown because it's easy for designers to throw some beading on a gown and call it good, but it takes real talent to do something interesting and beautiful with the design and fabric.

And it matched Brittany's fun personality perfectly!

You think they will have blonde children?

We don't.

We love our beautiful Brides, especially you Britt!

How Important Is Your Jewelry?

Very.

Sometimes it can make or break an outfit, so you can only imagine what it can do to your look on your Wedding Day.

Not only that, but your wedding jewelry is normally a family heirloom and  it is the jewelry you are supposed to wear on every Anniversary (read more about that here.)

Our Bride Alexis

We hope you all had good Halloween and coming off of your sugar hangover.

We thought that after a day of ghost, goblins and fake blood, we would give you something absolutely beautiful to look at.

This is our Bride, Alexis.

We received a sweet email from her with some of her photos.

We always love hearing from our Brides and seeing their photos and photos don't get any better than the incredible Rebekah Westover.
