Barber Shop Love

Morgan was a hard working, beautiful, single, hair dresser.
Sean was a single rocker, whose hair-cutting sister moved away.

A mutual friend told Sean to go to Morgan for a hair cut. There was instant attraction between the two and after four more hair cuts, Sean got the courage to get Morgan's phone number.

Their first date was relaxing and comfortable. Since Morgan had been cutting Sean's hair for a while, there weren't any awkward "getting to know you" moments. Sean didn't hesitate to show affection and took her hand. They ended up at Sean's apartment for a movie. Sean was bold and went for the first kiss. Morgan was very happy as she had been really "into him" after cutting his hair so much!

By December they were official, and February they were in love. The proposal came the following December.  Sean took Morgan to the Draper temple to look at the Christmas lights. While sitting on a bench, with snow lightly falling, Sean asked Morgan to be his wife.

After trying on multiple dresses, Morgan knew this Allure lace gown was hers! After receiving words of comfort from her seamstress, she knew it would be beautiful, once altered, to have sleeves. Her gown paved the way for her wedding color choices of ivory, champagne, and bronze.

Her gown also inspired the texture of her cake.

Morgan and Sean were married on March 10, 2012 in the Draper Utah LDS Temple,
with a reception at the Bungalow that evening.

During the reception, Sean performed a song he had written just for Morgan.

Sean thought Morgan looked flawless in her gown. Morgan felt sexy, beautiful and completely herself.
Her advice to other brides is to go with your gut.
When you have found your dress don't hesitate and don't second guess yourself!

Morgan loved her wedding day. It was just perfect!
She couldn't pick out just one favorite moment when it was all amazingly wonderful!

It Started With, "I like your shoes."

As Amie sat, eating lunch, wanting to expand her circle of friends, Scott walked down the hall. "I like your shoes," was the pick up line sophomore Amie used to catch the attention of the junior boy who caught her eye.

After a few months of friendship, Scott finally asked her out! He took her to Quiznos for dinner and to Hale Center Theater for A Christmas Carol. As it was Amie's first time to Quiznos, it now holds a special place in their hearts.

The first kiss came towards the end of the school year. After a party in Amie's back yard, the couple found themselves alone on her tramp. Amie jumped at the opportunity, and gave him a smooch. Scott claims she had to initiate the kiss because of the positioning on the tramp, never the less, the kiss happened and love was in the air.

Shortly after Scott's mission, and the night after their engagement photo shoot, he popped the question. With a romantic fondu pot of chocolate, strawberries and torch light by the waterfall, their evening was complete and their engagement was finally official.

Amie came into The Perfect Dress with an idea of what she wanted. She tried dresses on, went to lunch to make a decision, and left with something she never thought she'd wear. The full skirt and A-line cut was not the fitted dress she thought she wanted, but she knew it was the dress for her!

Amie let her dress define the theme of her wedding. Her advice to other brides is to pick something you are wanting. Don't go for what is in style, pick what you feel beautiful in! Amie loved her seamstress! She transformed her dress into a beautiful modest gown, and gave some amazing advice on how to care for her dress!

Scott waited to see Amie in her dress on June 15, their wedding day. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Amie loved that she was able to be married in her dress. When Scott saw her, he immediately was brought to tears. He couldn't believe how gorgeous she looked and how perfect her dress was.

Amie loved feeling like a princess on her wedding day. Scott and Amie are finally married, and couldn't be happier.

True High School Love

Luke met Jamie during their first year of high school at Cottonwood High. Their first date was a hot day of mini-golfing, long conversations and ice cream.

The first time they kissed, they were also all dressed up, at Homecoming their junior year. "It’s tradition to become a “True Colt” on Homecoming night by kissing your date on the school seal. So, in true school pride fashion we kissed on the school seal as the dance was ending."

Jamie knew she was in love the moment she realized Luke was her best friend and she never wanted to be without him. Luke proposed one winter night after a Jazz game. As they were warming up by the fire, he asked her to be his wife in a very intimate and romantic fashion.

Jamie and Luke were married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 18, 2012 and held a reception that evening in the Wasatch Room of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

Jamie loved her experience at The Perfect Dress. She had a wonderful time with her seamstress. She got her ideas for alterations from Pinterest and was so pleased with how it turned out.

You can see how much Luke loved her dress from the reaction in this adorable photo!

Jamie's advice to other brides looking for their wedding gown is to follow your heart. "Once I stopped thinking about what others might like, I found my dress!"

Jamie and Luke loved being surrounded by family and friends on their big day. They especially loved the promises they made to each other and are so happy to finally be married!
