Our Bride Grace

There couldn't be a more perfect name for this Bride.

Grace is just that.

She is a classic beauty who is also an incredible dancer.

For her wedding, Grace chose one of our very own designs, a beautiful lace gown with
a soft ruffled train.

Her fur stole is a perfect accessory for a Winter Wedding.

And these beautiful photos?

They were taken by the very talented Valory at Valory Jean Photography.

We picked a pretty great day to feature her because today is her Birthday!

Happy Birthday Grace!

It was so fun for us to help you!

Our Bride Kwinci And A Little Budgeting Advice

These just might be some of our favorite photos ever taken of one of our Brides.

Meet Kwinci

She fell in love with a strapless, lace, tiered gown of ours and asked us to design and add sleeves to it.

And her gown turned out incredible!

Now, we've said it before and we will say it again.

When planning your budget for your wedding, the number one thing that you want to splurge on is your photography.

What?

You thought we were going to say your dress, right.

No.

We think that this relationship that we have with you should at least be an honest one.

That's just how we roll.

But the dress is a close second on the splurge factor for your wedding.

You want to have incredible photos of your special day that you will be proud to hang on your wall.

On the other hand, if you are not wearing a gown you love, that makes you feel beautiful, no matter how gorgeous those photos are, it will show.

You will never hear a person complain that the food at their wedding wasn't perfect (no one will remember what you served) or how the napkins weren't a very good quality.

You will hear them complain if they didn't love their photographer or their dress.

So make sure that those are the first things you budget for.

Now, we're sure you're wondering who took Kwinci's incredible photos!

That would be the very talented Avi Stoddard and we are being honest when we tell you that all of her photo shoots look as incredible as this one.

She is so talented.

Congrats Kwinci!

We loved helping you create your perfect dress.

Found Your Dream Dress, But It Doesn't Fit Your Budget?

Our Brides here at The Perfect Dress are smart and savvy.

Not to mention gorgeous.

Since we've been open, we have seen a growing trend of Brides asking for gift certificates to our store for Christmas.

Kind of strange or really smart?

We say smart!

Have you fallen in love with a gown that is just out of your budget?

Lucky you!

Christmas is coming up and instead of asking for more clothes, new perfume or that pair of boots, Brides are asking for help to get their dream wedding dress!

Something that will last forever and always be remembered.

We just wanted to let you Brides know that we offer Gift Certificates here at The Perfect Dress.

Call us at (801)568-3737 and we will have one made and ready for you to pick up!

Merry Christmas!

Our Bride Suzette

Today we are showing you Suzette.

Check out that smile!
Suzette's story about finding her perfect dress might sound familiar.

"My mother-in-law, among many others, suggested I make an appointment at The Perfect Dress. I did that but also went to a few other places where I saw nothing that I liked."

"When I got to The Perfect Dress, Robyn was shining and smiling and made a long and difficult process exciting and doable. That was so important for me because I was feeling pretty dreary about the whole thing."

"Ideas, hopes and dreams started flowing together as Robyn helped me make huge decisions and narrow my choices down to two dresses. Both were sleeveless and I needed a modest sleeve. And one other thing that my heart desired: lace."

"I kept the original sweetheart neckline but raised the lace to the boatneck."

"To add the last perfecting touch, the veil was the ideal length to show off the buttons that went from the base of my neck to the end of my train. To add to it's beauty, the veil happened to be lined with tiny beads that matched my sash perfectly!
The earrings and bracelet I wore also came from The Perfect Dress."

"The seamstress that made all my alterations did a fabulous job and I felt like my dress fit me like a glove. Most importantly, I actually got to feel like a princess. Never thought that would happen, let alone that I would WANT to feel that way."

"All in all, dress shopping started out daunting but ended up being the easiest thing in my wedding plans. Well, that and saying 'yes' to the man of my dreams."

Suzette, you are the cutest.

Thanks for trusting us with one of your most important decisions.

Best wishes!

Our Bride Danielle

Danielle is one of those Brides who has a classic style.

See what we're saying?

Classic.

Danielle fell in love with a timeless strapless gown, but she wanted sleeves.

With our seamstresses, Danielle designed sleeves that were flawless.

Our favorite part of her Bridal look?

Her necklace.

She took a chance and added a pop of color.

It was a perfect statement piece and a good example that you can keep that classic J. Crew style and still be a little daring.

And these beautiful photos of Danielle and Jake?

They were captured by Jordan Carli Photography.

The moral of this story is, if you're looking for a look that even your grandchildren will want to emulate, take a page out of Danielle's book.

Effortless and beautiful.

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Especially if you are dating that special someone.

Awwwww.  Look at this cute hipster couple riding around, being all cool.
This could be the month that it happens.

Awwww.  Look at this cute preppy couple, being all cute and engaged.

There are more proposals in the month of December than any other month.

So here is an early Congratulations to all of you future Brides and a little word of advice.

Remember that for some designers, it can take up to six months to ship their gowns.

Six months!

Yes Mr. Worhal, you're very right.

The problem with waiting is that if you wait too long to purchase your wedding gown, you won't be able to get the dress of your dreams.

So here is what most savvy Brides that have short engagements do.

They go wedding dress shopping before they get engaged, find their gown and either purchase it or figure out the latest they can order it.

Looks like a lively bunch!
You don't have to tell your future Fiancé.

Actually, we would advise not telling him.

Guys don't get it.

Plus, you get to avoid the after Christmas rush.

The week after Christmas is crazy and it doesn't die down until July!

And since we are talking about engagements,

this might be the cutest way to capture the moment.

Just sayin'.
